APC: Ekiti People, Monarchs Hail Saraki, Ahmed

The people of Ekiti local government area of Kwara State  have applauded the defection of Governor Abdulfattah Ahmed and Senator Bukola Saraki  to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

They expressed satisfaction that the two leaders had decided to join forces with the progressive elements in the country.

Also, traditional institution in the area under the chairmanship of Olosi of Osi, Oba Abdulkareem Adasofegbe Arowobeku, blessed the decision of the area to support the leadership of the state in providing direction to the people of the state.

The acting chairman of APC in the local government, Alhaji Raji Ganiyu gave the indication during the end of the year meeting of the party in Osi ward.

Ganiyu, who noted that the nation's hard earned democracy could only be strengthened through internal democracy, adherence to the rule of law, blamed the leadership of the  Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the national level for  the exodus of members from the party.

In her remarks, a member of the state House of Assembly, Hon. Felicia Ebun Owolabi, praised the people and traditional institution in the area for their massive support for the leadership of senator Bukola Saraki and Governor Abdulfattah Ahmed.
