OPINION: The political merchants called Bukola and Gbemi Saraki. By Abdulraheem Salman
It is also on record that, Gbemi Saraki's gubernatorial ambition was a farce. It was a pre-planned game between herself and her brother to keep Kwarans in perpetual bondage and continue with the alleged looting of our commonwealth. Gbemi's decision was to divide the party or compromise after winning the ticket which she failed woefully to secure.
The game-plan was to play on Kwarans' intelligence and create a rancorous scenario between Gbemi and Bukola in order to perpetuate themselves in power.
It is quite disheartening that Kwarans are unaware of this wicked plot. While applying common sense to the matter, it became glaring to me that, Kwarans are being used and dumped to achieve their unsatisfying appetite for our money.
My dear Kwarans, please, wake up from slumber. My people, it is time to smell the coffee. This is the time for freedom. The desired freedom in Kwara is possible. My people, put and end to this slavery that has become a norm. Put an end to political slavery and bondage that was transferred from father to the children.
Kwarans, the freedom we seek is not for PDP. This change is beyond Ajibola. The change transcends Ahmed Yinka Aluko. The change is for freedom from Saraki's political, social and financial slavery. The freedom is for the future of Kwara state and our children. We have no excuse to give to the incoming generation if we fail to effect this freedom now.
My people, it is time to stop the exploiters. Now is the time to send the merchants playing with our destiny packing. Kwarans, don't be deceived by their lies. Don't be deceived by the Federal factor. Remember, if the the President can be voted out, you can also vote out the under-performing Saraki's stooge holding forte for his paymaster.
