A Coalition of Youths in the Kwara State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ilorin, has endorsed Sunday Babalola, one of the aspirants as the preferred gubernatorial candidate for the party in 2015 election.

The youths pleaded with the elders and other stakeholders in the PDP to consider kwara South for their choice since the ruling party in the state, All Progressives Congress, APC, has already zoned its choice to the incumbent Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed area, for him to contest for second term.

At a briefing jointly addressed by the President and Secretary, Messrs Adedeji Adekunle and Adegoroye Adeniyi respectively among others, said: "Our reason for the Omu-Aran born engineer is predicated on the premise of fairness, equity justice and rotational leadership in view of the fact that kwara south is best positioned for the next governorship ticket for the purpose of equal representation. The choice of Kwara South candidate for our party will go a long way to guarantee victory in 2015 in view of the yearnings, aspirations and desires of kwara and indeed southerners and northerners in Kwara State."
