Ilorin Emir canvasses support for Saraki dynasty ideals
The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State traditional rulers council, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has called on the people of the state to continue to support the ideals and principles of Saraki dynasty for better development of the state.
Speaking on behalf of the Emir, the Magaji Nda of Ilorin, Alhaji Salihu Woru Muhammed and other senior emirate members who paid a courtesy visit to Senator Bukola Saraki at his GRA resident, Ilofa Road, Ilorin, also said that Senator Saraki had done well for the people of the state since the demise of the political icon of the state, Dr Olusola Saraki.
According to him, people could only criticise late Dr Olusola Saraki, but that they could not fault his decisions.
He said Baba Saraki supported emergence of so many people into position of authority without looking back.
He said such had been the principle of late Saraki throughout his life time.
The traditional ruler also said that the present leadership quality of Senator Saraki had been able to keep the hope of the people like his late father.
He said the intrest of Senator Saraki had been on the need to develop what his father left behind.
The Emir also commended the state government for the good job it has been doing towards the development of the state.
He said the concept of continuity adopted by the government had realy assisted the execution of so projects in the nooks and crannies of the state.
In his remark, Senator Saraki assured the Emirate of his determination to support the execution of projects that have direct benefit on the people of the state.
