Kwara pensioners charged to update records

Date: 2013-06-11

The Kwara State Pension Board has advised state pensioners to update their records or risk their names being deleted from the payroll of June this year.
The Secretary of the board, Abdulrahman Yanda Mohammed, said in a statement that refusal by some state pensioners to update their records was affecting the board's data  base input.
He said the lists of the affected pensioners have been placed both at the state pension board and the state branch of Nigerian Union of Pensioners' office.
Alhaji Mohammed advised the affected pensioners to check the two officers and report to the state pension board with all their documents starting from Monday, June 10, 2013.
The secretary said "failure to update their record will amount to deleting their names from the pay roll of June 013 ".
Alhaji Mohammed said all state pensioners now receive their pay on the 25th of every month.
