The Kwara State government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mosila Group Limited for the establishment of a 600-tonne agro-processing complex in Share, Ifelodun Local Government Area of the state.

The complex is to take advantage of the state's huge potential in cassava farming by adding value to cassava derivatives.

While signing on behalf his company, the chairman of Mosilo Group Limited, Mr. Moses Siasia, disclosed that the agro-processing complex would be in phases and would occupy one hundred hectares of land.

According to a press statement released by Abdulrahman Oba, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed, Mr. Siasia added that an 18-month period has been earmarked for the completion of the first phase of the project at a cost of $150m.
