NPFL: Warri Wolves Coach Relishes Kwara Victory

Date: 2013-04-30

Warri Wolves Coach Solomon Ogbeide has stated that he is excited over his team’s hard-earned 2-1 victory over visiting Kwara United over the weekend.

The well traveled coach in an interview with futaa.com admitted that his side were lucky to secure the maximum points after surviving the late onslaught from the Afonja Warriors who despite playing a man down tried hard to steal a point away from Warri.

Important win

“Of course I am excited over the victory, this is not the best game for us but the key thing is that we got the result. If we had gotten similar results in our earlier home games that we even played better we should be somewhere at the top of the table now," coach Ogbeide remarked.

While Ogbeide is celebrating his team’s victory, his opposite man Coach Samson Unuanel has vowed to avenge the loss when both sides meet again.

Unuanel who admitted learning the ropes from the likes of Ogbeide says he is ready to prove he has come of age.
