Engineer Adebayo Advocates Regular Physical Exercise Among Nigerians
An appeal has gone to Nigerians to pay more attention to healthy living through adequate physical exercise of their body.
The appeal was made in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital, by the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of Communications Network Support Services Limited (CNSSL), Engineer Gbenga Adebayo, at the commencement of a cycling event tagged ‘Race for Life’.
According to Engineer Adebayo, who is also the Founder and President of African Broadband Limited, owners of Royalfm 95.1 Ilorin and Royaltimes online newspaper, regular physical exercise would not only enable individuals to achieve strong body system but also help in reducing common deadly diseases like High Blood Pressure, Hypertension, and Diabetes. He added that cycling, which is an affordable means of transportation, should be engaged by all in order to stay healthy.
He promised to help in sustaining the non-competitive event with needed logistic and financial inputs.
Participants at the event - which took place on major routes like Taiwo road, Unity, Challenge, Ahmadu Bello way, and Tanke - include top hierarchy and staff of the group of companies alongside some invited dignitaries.
