Arrangement has been concluded by the Nigeria (Pro) Wrestling Federation to honour the Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, and his Osun State counterpart, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, with the Good Governance Award for their numerous contributions towards development in their states.

President of the federation, Prince Hameed Olanrewaju Mohammed, told National Mirror yesterday that the governors were considered for their numerous achievements since they assumed offices, adding that other state governors were also in line for the awards in the coming months.

“We are honouring Ahmed because in the history of Kwara State, no governor has created 2, 000 jobs for the youths like he did recently while Aregbesola has also impacted on the Osun with his people-oriented programmes,” Mohammed said.

The NWF boss said the body had sent a visitation team to all the states in Nigeria, adding that the resolve to list the awardees was informed by the team’s assessment.
