The law maker representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, Dr Bukola Saraki, on Monday distributed educational materials worth millions to 1,525 students in the state. The materials were distributed to the beneficiaries by the Director General of the Abubakar Bukola Saraki Constituency Office of the senator in IIorin, Malam Yoonus AbdulRahman.

He said the materials, which were distributed under the aegis of the lawmaker's annual education empowerment initiative, was aimed at assisting the less privileged.

AbdulRahman also said all the beneficiaries would be entitled to two free meals on every coaching day until JAMB examination period.

The Chairman of Bukola Saraki Education Programme, Dr Lasiele Alabi, urged the beneficiaries to reciprocate Saraki's gesture by being dedicated to their studies.

The materials distributed included exercise books, writing materials and past JAMB question papers.
