The Assistant Comptroller-General of Customs (ACG) and Zonal Coordinator for Zone 'B', Nsikan Umoh, has commended officers of the Kwara Area Command for maintaining high standards of professionalism, discipline and integrity.

Umoh gave the commendation during an official oversight visit to the command headquarters in Ilorin as part of her operational tour of Customs formations within Zone 'B'.

The ACG disclosed that the zonal headquarters had not received any adverse reports against the Kwara Area Command since she assumed office, describing the development as a reflection of the officers' commitment to professional and ethical conduct.

She urged personnel to sustain the standard and remain disciplined and responsible both in the performance of their official duties and in their personal lives.

Umoh also cautioned officers against involvement in illicit drug activities, corruption and other forms of misconduct, stressing the need to protect the image and core values of the Nigeria Customs Service.

She encouraged the officers to maintain unity and work collectively towards achieving the Service's mandate, while assuring them of the continued support of the zonal headquarters and the management of the Nigeria Customs Service.

Earlier, the Acting Area Controller of the Kwara Command, Deputy Comptroller Najeem Ogundeyi, highlighted some of the achievements recorded under his leadership.

He reaffirmed the command's commitment to improving service delivery, strengthening operational efficiency and contributing effectively to the overall objectives of the Nigeria Customs Service.
