Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Kwara State governor and NGF chairman on Friday wished the people of the state, especially the Muslim community, a blessed Eid-el-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan fast.

"I pray to Allaah to accept our worship and our supplication whilst the month lasted, and to give us the grace to remain faithful and submissive to Him, adherent to the best of manners that the month taught, and observant of His commandments at all times," he said.

Similarly, Emir of Ilorin, Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari congratulates Muslims on successful completion of Ramadan and Eid-el-Fitr sallah celebrations.

The Emir, who is also the chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the entire Muslim Ummah in Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State, and Nigeria as a whole.

He further noted that, "Ramadan is not only a time of abstinence but also a period of deep reflection, compassion, discipline, and renewed devotion to Allah (SWT) stressing that, "As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, I urge all Muslims to sustain the virtues learned during Ramadan such as piety, humility, generosity, tolerance, and love for one another.

"This joyous festival should also serve as a moment to promote peace, unity, and religious harmony in our communities and across the nation. Nigeria's strength lies in its diversity, and we must continue to live together in mutual respect and understanding, irrespective of faith or ethnic background.

"I call on all citizens to shun violence, intolerance, and actions capable of disrupting public order. Let us use this occasion to extend kindness to the less privileged, support the needy, reconcile with one another, and pray for lasting peace, security, and prosperity in our dear country."
