Tinubu Is A Political Institution: BAT-IG Orients Kwara Women On President's Ideology
The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Ideological Group (BAT-IG) has conducted a comprehensive sensitisation, orientation, and training programme in Ilorin, Kwara State, specifically targeting the wives of military and paramilitary personnel.
The event, held on Monday, January 26, 2026, was designed to strengthen grassroots political mobilisation and familiarise participants with the values and code of conduct of the BAT Ideological Movement. According to Arabinrin Aderonke, the group's Director of Media and Communication, the programme also served as a launchpad for the APC e-registration exercise and the BAT-HOME-CELL registration within the state.
Speaking at the gathering, Gloria Luka, the National Women Leader of the military and paramilitary group, described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a "political institution" whose leadership vision is anchored on empowerment, inclusiveness, and sustainable development. She noted that the training was essential to ensure members align with the group's official handbook and structure.
Luka further encouraged the women to participate actively in the All Progressives Congress (APC) nationwide e-registration exercise. She urged those interested in joining the party to register at their respective polling units, emphasizing that the involvement of security families is vital for strengthening democratic institutions and ensuring people-centred governance.
The programme is part of a series of strategic engagements by BAT-IG aimed at consolidating support for the President's "Renewed Hope" agenda at the community level ahead of future political activities.
She also encouraged members to establish BAT-HOME-CELL structures within their various communities, explaining that the initiative would enhance grassroots engagement, promote wider dissemination of the Tinubu ideology, and improve alignment with government policies and programmes from the local to the federal level.
The programme recorded a turnout of over 5,000 participants, reflecting growing grassroots interest and readiness to mobilise in support of the Renewed Hope Agenda as political activities continue to intensify.
The BAT Ideological Group is a political support and ideological movement committed to promoting the vision, values and leadership philosophy of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The group focuses on political education, leadership development, policy advocacy, conflict resolution and national image branding, while working to counter misinformation and promote informed civic engagement.
