The grand finale and closing ceremony of the Kwara State Qur'an Memorisation Competition will hold on Sunday.

The competition is scheduled to take place at the George Innih Stadium Complex, Ilorin, beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the morning.

According to a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Kwara State Qur'an Committee, Alhaji Imam Nuhu Abass, a lineup of high-profile dignitaries is expected to attend:

• Special Guest of Honour: Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
• Royal Father of the Day: The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Zulu-Gambari.
• Chairman of the Occasion: The Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Yakubu Danlad-Salihu.
• Chairperson: A former member of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Alhaja Sikirat Anako.
• Guest Speaker: The Imam of Masjid Maimasa, Ojagboro, Ilorin, Professor Yusuf Lanre Badmus.
• Chief Host: The chairman of the state Qur'an Committee, Alhaji Shehu Gafar.

The statement urged the general public to attend the event promptly.
