NOC Concludes Advanced Sport Management Course at UNILORIN Graduates 21 Administrators
The Nigerian Olympic Committee (NOC), in partnership with Olympic Solidarity and the International Olympic Committee (IOC), has announced the successful completion of the 7th and final module of the Advanced Sport Management Course (ASMC) at the University of Ilorin, Kwara State.
The final session saw 21 high-level sports administrators from across Nigeria successfully defend their final Theses before a distinguished panel of external examiners and NOC representatives. The event marked the successful conclusion of a rigorous, year-long programme designed to strengthen sports governance and leadership nationwide.
Among the graduates is Abuja-based Agbor Clinton Ayuk, who is the former President of the Nigeria e-sports Federation, Founder of Sports Fan Zone (an international body dedicated to fan development), and Director General of the All Federal Capital Territory Sports Association.
Agbor praised the ASMC, calling it "an indispensable platform for building world-class sports management expertise in Nigeria."
He extended commendations to the IOC and NOC for engaging globally renowned lecturers who guided participants since the programme's launch last year.
Delivered through the IOC's flagship Managing Olympic Sport Organisations manual, the ASMC combines in-person and virtual learning modules over a 12-month period.
The curriculum equipped administrators with cutting-edge management tools, strategic leadership skills, and best practices to drive sustainable transformation within their organisations.
With the completion of this cohort, a new generation of certified leaders is now positioned to elevate standards of excellence, transparency, and innovation across Nigeria's sports ecosystem.
The NOC remains committed to advancing Olympism, fostering athletic development, and ensuring Nigeria's competitive prominence in the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, and other major international events to which Nigeria is affiliated.
