IPMAN Leadership Calls on Kwara Fire Service to Strengthen Safety Partnership
The Kwara State Fire Service, on Monday, 22 September 2025, received the newly elected executive members of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), led by Chairman Alhaji Kabiru Kolawole Zubair, at the Brigade Headquarters in Ilorin.
In his address, Alhaji Zubair commended the Service for its unwavering dedication to the protection of lives and property across the state. He assured that his administration is committed to consolidating and strengthening the existing synergy between IPMAN and the Kwara State Fire Service, in the interest of public safety.
The State Director of Fire Service, Prince Falade John Olumuyiwa, in his response, expressed appreciation for the visit. He enjoined IPMAN members to comply with safety standards by ensuring regular servicing of fire extinguishers, routine inspection of trucks before embarking on journeys, and strict avoidance of underage truck drivers.
The Director reiterated the commitment of the Kwara State Fire Service to remain combat-ready, with a resolute focus on safeguarding lives and property across the state.
