Gov AbdulRazaq Bids Farewell to Kwara Christian Pilgrims at Airport
Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, accompanied the state's Christian pilgrims to Murtala Muhammed International Airport on Friday night to bid them farewell.
This gesture has become a regular practice for the governor, who not only pays courtesy visits to the pilgrims but also sees them off at the airport as a demonstration of his solidarity with them.
During the visit, Governor AbdulRazaq engaged in warm conversations with the pilgrims, who expressed their admiration for his humility and significant achievements across various sectors in Kwara State. He encouraged the pilgrims to serve as exemplary ambassadors and representatives of both the state and the nation during their journey.
The National Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC) acknowledged the governor's consistent support for the pilgrimage programme, praising his commitment to fostering religious harmony and development in the state.
The Governor's visit, as always, drew applauses from the pilgrims, who, in turn, appreciated him and prayed for God's guidance and mercies for him to continue to succeed in office.
Executive Secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC, Bishop (Prof) Stephen Adegbite, for his part, said the Governor has been supportive towards the success of all the programme and activities of Christians not just in Kwara state but the nation at large.
