KWSG Relaxes Offa/Erin Ile Curfew
The Kwara State Government has relaxed the 24-hour curfew imposed on Offa and Erin-Ile communities in order to allow Muslims and Christians to observe their religious obligations.
Making the announcement following an on the spot assessment of both communities by a high-powered government delegation, the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Isiaka Gold said movement will be allowed between 12pm and 6pm today and 7am and 2pm on Sunday.
The 24-hour curfew will however operate outside these periods.
Alhaji Gold advised the people of Offa and Erin-Ile communities to continue to comply with the restrictions in movement and maintain the peace.
