IEDPU FCT Chairman Congratulates Northern Zone Leaders on Successful Elections
The Chairman of the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) FCT branch, Alhaji Lukman Atanda Abdullah, has extended his congratulations to the newly elected leadership of the Union's Northern Zone.
The elections, held during the 49th Annual Convention at Maje, Suleja, resulted in the emergence of Dr. Muhammad Kameel Abidogun of the Kaduna branch as Chairman. Alhaji Abdullah expressed confidence in the new leadership and pledged the unwavering loyalty of all FCT branches to the Union's collective goals.
“We are optimistic that the new leadership will take the Zone to greater heights,” he said.
Alhaji Abdullah commended the outgoing chairman, A.S. Moyosore Esq., for his selfless service and dedication to the union.
“Moyosore's leadership was marked by wisdom, integrity, and a deep commitment to the union's ideals,” he said. “We are grateful for his contributions and wish him well in his future endeavors.”
The new leadership comprises seasoned professionals and dedicated union members, including Dr. Muhammad Kameel Abidogun as Chairman, Qs. Musa T. Moyosore as Vice Chairman 1, and Dr. Garba H. Olororo as Vice Chairman 2.
Other members of the executive council include Dr. Hassan Sulaiman as Secretary, Mall. Ridwan Muhammad Baba as Assistant Secretary 1, and Muritala Yahya as Assistant Secretary 2.
With their wealth of experience and expertise, the new leadership is well-equipped to tackle the challenges facing the union and its members.
Alhaji Abdullah expressed confidence in their ability to navigate the complexities of the union's operations and to make informed decisions that will benefit the members.
