Kwara North Leaders Laud Tinubu, AbdulRazaq, and BUA on Road Rehabilitation

The rehabilitation of federal roads in Bode Saadu, Kaiama, and Baruten in Kwara North has reached advanced stages, earning commendations from the Chairman of Kaiama Local Government, Hon. Abubakar Abdullah Danladi, and the Emir of Kaiama, Alhaji Omar Shehu Muazu Bagidi Ki Yaru.

The long-abandoned roads, which had been in disrepair for over 45 years, are being rehabilitated through collaborative efforts led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, and BUA Group management.

Significant progress has been made, with 45 kilometres already completed. The stakeholders expressed satisfaction with the development during a weekend site visit, noting the positive impact on accessibility and regional development.

The Emir of Kaiama, Alhaji Omar Shehu Muazu Bagidi Ki Yaru, the Executive Chairman of Kaiama Local Government Hon Abubakar Abdullah Danladi and other critical stakeholders who visited the site expressed their gratitudes to President Tinubu, the Governor of Kwara State Mall Abdulrahman Abdulrazak and the BUA company for their hard work and dedication to the project.

Chairman of Kaiama local government,Alh Abubabar Abdullahi Danladi told journalists that people of Kwara North are eternally grateful to Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Executive Governor of Kwara State, for transforming a long-held dream into reality.

He said that the historic completion of the Bode-Sadu-Kaiama-Baruten road, a vision nurtured for over 45 years, is a testament to the governor's unwavering commitment to the development of Kwara North.

“This landmark achievement would not have been possible without Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's leadership, vision, and dedication to the welfare of the people.

“His administration's efforts have opened up new opportunities for economic growth, social progress, and improved living standards for the people of Kwara North.”

For his part,the Emir of Kaiama, Alhaji Omar Shehu Muazu Bagidi Ki Yaru, also commended Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq,” for his courage, perseverance, and passion for development. His legacy will be remembered for generations to come, and the people of Kwara North will forever be grateful for his transformative leadership. “

“The completion of this road project is expected to have a profound impact on the economy of Kwara State. It will not only reduce travel time but also open up new 1opportunities for trade and commerce with neighboring states and countries, such as the Republic of Benin.” he said

The monarch listed some of the benefits of the road project to include:

Improved Connectivity-The road will connect Kwara State to neighboring states and countries, facilitating trade and commerce.

Boost to Economy-The road project is expected to boost the economy of Kwara State by creating new opportunities for businesses and industries.

Reduced Travel Time-The road will reduce travel time between Kwara State and neighboring states and countries.

Increased Access to Markets- The road will provide farmers and traders with increased access to markets, both within and outside the state.
