According to a news report from Voice of Nigeria, Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has reiterated the state's commitment to investing in educational programmes that support children's dreams and aspirations.

In his message commemorating Children's Day, the Governor highlighted the boundless joy and hope children bring to the world. He expressed his delight at the positive impact of the state's KwaraLEARN programme on children's learning skills.

Governor Abdulrazaq also stated that the success of the KwaraLEARN programme motivates the government to expand the tech-based initiative to cover more areas in the state.

“To strengthen access of our children to a qualitative basic education that enables them to compete fairly with their peers around the world, we will step up our school renewal projects” Abdulrazaq added.

He also assured that the state government will do a lot more in primary healthcare to guarantee the well-being of the younger ones and their mothers.

“I assure the Kwara child of our support every step of the way to actualise their dreams and reach their full potential”, he declared.

In his remarks while celebrating the occasion, the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Yakubu Danladi Salihu said as lawmakers, they remain committed to protecting and promoting every child's right, the right to the best education, health care, clean water to drink, healthy food, and a clean and safe environment among others.

“May they always feel loved, supported, and empowered to dream big” he stated.
