CIBN Inaugurates Bankers Hall at KWASU

According to a news report from The Nation, Dr Ken Opara, President of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), has officially opened the new CIBN Bankers Hall at Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, Kwara State.

Opara underscored the significance of collaboration between academia and the banking industry, affirming CIBN's dedication to fostering excellence and professionalism within the banking sector.

The inauguration of the CIBN Bankers Hall marks a significant milestone and reflects a renewed commitment to enhancing banking education and fostering sustainable development in Nigeria.

Opara expressed gratitude to stakeholders, partners, and well-wishers whose contributions facilitated the success of the project, inviting them to share in the celebration of this historic achievement.

Prof. Shaykh Luqman Jimoh, Acting Vice Chancellor of KWASU, extended profound appreciation to the institute for its generous gesture and pledged to maintain the hall in excellent condition.

Dignitaries present at the event included Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari; Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Kwara State, Dr. Mary Arinde; First Vice President of the CIBN, Prof. Pius Olanrewaju, and Registrar and Chief Executive of CIBN, Akin Morakinyo.
