According to a news report from The Nation, respected elder statesman, Chief Ebenezer Adenike, has praised President Bola Tinubu for his people-focused development projects in Kwara State.

Chief Adenike, a former member of the Board of Nigeria Frequency Management Council, raised concerns about the appropriation of federal initiatives as achievements of the state government. He believes that President Tinubu's contributions to the state are often overlooked, with federal projects misrepresented as the work of state officials.

Chief Adenike specifically commended the President for the nearly N300 billion, 130-kilometre Bode Saadu-Kaiama-Kosubosu road project, as well as the Ilorin Smart City project, which he clarified is part of the federal 'Renewed Hope Housing Estate' initiative.

He frowned at the alleged lack of transparency in land acquisition processes, particularly in Ilorin East and South, where residents are unaware of the federal involvement and impending compensation.

“The people of Ilorin East and South, who are affected by the land acquisitions, are not informed that this project is a Federal Government initiative. The Kwara Government is the facilitator.”

Adenike also criticized the handling of federal food palliatives, alleging that President Tinubu's contributions are overshadowed or omitted entirely from official communications.

He expressed concern that the recognition and distribution of these resources are disproportionately allocated within the ruling party, neglecting non-partisan Kwarans entitled to their fair share.

This is the situation in Kwara state at the moment and the earlier the President arrests this, the better for his glory and legacy in Kwara state.
