Governor AbdulRazaq Welcomes Appointment of Onikijipa as New TUC Chair

According to a news report from Kwara State Government Facebook Page, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq welcomes the selection of Alhaji Abdulrahman Olayinka Onikijipa as the new chairman of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) in Kwara State, following his election at the recent Triennial Conference of the labour body in Ilorin.

The Governor expresses confidence in Alhaji Onikijipa's abilities, stating that the government anticipates a cooperative working relationship with the new TUC leader and his team.

Governor AbdulRazaq highlights Alhaji Onikijipa's commendable track record, particularly his outstanding performance and positive history of service within the Road Transport Employers' Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), indicating a promising future for the TUC in the state under his leadership.

Furthermore, the Governor commends the outgoing TUC Chairman, Comrade Tunde Joseph, for his dedicated and practical leadership during his tenure, specifically praising his commitment to constructive dialogue and collaboration with the government.

Governor AbdulRazaq extends his best wishes to Alhaji Onikijipa and his team, entrusting them with the responsibility of advancing the welfare of workers and contributing to nation-building, inherent in their leadership role within the labour union.
