Over 2,300 Civil Servants Engage in Promotion Exams

According to a news report from Daily Trust, a total of 2,305 civil servants in Kwara State are currently undergoing promotion examinations, with the initial batch of 236 officers commencing the assessments in Ilorin on Monday.

Hajia Habibat Yusuf, the Chairperson of the Kwara State Civil Service Commission, who oversaw the proceedings, emphasised the commission's commitment to ensuring that promotions are granted to deserving officers. She clarified that those who demonstrate exemplary performance in the examinations would be advanced within the service, serving as a source of motivation for others.

Speaking to reporters, Hajia Habibat highlighted that under her stewardship, the commission has conducted five promotion exercises, including the 2019 assessment inherited from the previous administration.
