The fresh graduate of the Kwara State Polytechnic whose head was wrapped in bandage, said, “The tree hit me on the head as it fell. I just can't thank God enough that I am still alive. The pain was unbearable, but I am getting better.”
A market woman, Hanifa Dawudu, said, “I was hit by the tree on the waist and back before I fell down. It would have been another story if another branch fell on us.”
