The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR has congratulated Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari CFR the immediate past Chief of Staff to former President Muhammadu Buhari for serving the nation diligently.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari also thanked the diplomat for making Ilorin Emirate proud throughout his tenure in office without blemish stressing that, “You have indeed represented the dynasty excellently well and we are proud of your outstanding performances.”

This is contained in a goodwill message issued by the Emir's spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, on Tuesday.

The Emir further described Prof. Gambari as a seasoned administrator, diplomat, global peace advocate, Prince of the dynasty with exceptional leadership skills and among all, the Wambai of Ilorin Emirate.

“You have truly represented us well in your most recent national assignment as the Chief of Staff to former President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR (2020 – 2023). Your quality guidance and support rendered to the past administration has translated into the peaceful transition of leadership in the nation.

“On behalf of the entire members of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, I rejoice with you on this laudable feat and wish you successful accomplishments in all your endeavours” the Emir added.
