Kwara Poly gets accreditation for Mass Comm
The Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, Kwara State, has said its Higher National Degree Programme in Mass Communication has been fully accredited.
A statement by the institution said its rector, Dr Abdul Muhammed said the institution now has six academic institutes and four centres.
He explained that the academic institutes are the Institutes of Applied Sciences, Institute of Environmental Studies, Institute of Finance and Management Studies, Institute of General Studies; Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Institute of Technology, Centre for Open Distance and Flexible E-Learning, Centre for Continuing Education, Centre for Interim Joint Matriculation Board, and Entrepreneurship Development Center.
Muhammed spoke during the 50th anniversary of the institution and its Alumni Association ceremony titled, ’ Raising the bar for greatness and excellence.’
He also said Kwarapoly had maintained its position as one of the top ten Polytechnics in Nigeria in terms of patronage by admission seekers.
