Bola Ahmed Tinubu Campaign Organisation (BATCO) in Kwara State is confident that President-elect Bola Tinubu will unite Nigeria.

It said Asiwaju Tinubu understands the dynamism and complexities of the country.

State Coordinator AbdulRaseed Salaudeen made this known in Ilorin, on the sidelines of a victory party organised by BATCO.

Salaudeen, who is also the Special Assistant to Kwara State Governor AbdulRaman AbdulRazaq, said Tinubu “is extraordinarily capable of fixing the current challenges facing the nation. He has done it before. He did it in Lagos State. You can feel it everywhere. Look at the way those northern people accepted Tinubu. It shows Tinubu is not a sectional and regional politician. He is nationally accepted. “

The BATCO coordinator said before and during the campaign, the organisation faced a number of hurdles that bordered on Naira redesign and fuel scarcity.

“We are here today to celebrate our (APC)'s victory at the February 25 and March 18 presidential and National Assembly as well as governorship and House of Assembly elections,” he said.

He added: “For your information, this is the first time a politician will be elected as president.”

Corroborating him, Kwara South Coordinator of BATCO Adewole Abel attributed Tinubu's victory to the grace of God, his doggedness and determination not be distracted by the antics of naysayers. 

He added that although the tasks ahead of Tinubu were enormous, they were surmountable.

“Actually, the tasks ahead of him are enormous, but he is up to the task, he has been tested and trusted. His exploits in Lagos State when he was governor is a reference point.“
