Local Government Gratuity: 2011 Jan-May Retirees Payment Commences
2009/2010 Beneficiaries yet to pick their cheques are implored to visit Pension Board
The Kwara State Local Government Pension Board is set to commence the payment of gratuity to Local Government Officers who retired in January to May of the year 2011.
According to a Press Statement issued by the Executive Secretary of the Board, Mr Oyelowo Sumaila Micheal , he implored the beneficiaries to please come along with relevant documents to claim their gratuity Cheque.
The Executive Secretary disclosed that the payment is a gradual phase-out of inherited gratuity payment.
He however appealed for calm and patience from the remaining Pensioners as this dawn of change will definitely get to them by the Grace of God.
Subsequently, he urged the 2009/2010 Pensioners who are yet to claim their Cheque to come to the Commission to pick it up.
Mr Oyelowo commended Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for having the love of workers, especially the Pensioners at heart through prompt payment of Salary and Pension.
