Sadiq Umar win Kwara North Senate seat by landslide

The Senator for Kwara North Senatorial District, Sadiq Sulaiman Umar has been declared the winner of February 25 election in that region

The INEC Returning Officer for Kwara North,Professor Oluwole Akinola made the announcement at the collection centre on Monday

Announcing the result, Prof, Oluwole said Sadiq Sulaiman Umar of APC polled 78,015 votes, while his strong opponent Adamu Issha Bawa of PDP 41,443 votes , Attahiru Manko of the SDP 15,879 votes and Dr Baba Kolo Jiya of NNPP polled 3,140
