'Kwara United fans must be patient'

Date: 2012-12-11

Kwara United new sign Taiwo Mayegun has appealed to supporters to be patience with the team next season.

Kwara placed fifth last season and the club have carried out a major surgery ahead of the new season with changes in leadership of the technical crew as well as fortification of the club with new players and Mayegun, who alongside Sunday Taiwo and Samuel Adegbenro joined the Afonja Warriors from second division club Prime FC, told futaa.com that the fans must show understanding with the team.

Ambitious

- We are looking forward to a good season but what I was told is that the fans here are very eager for results and this is why I have to appeal on behalf of my colleagues that they should have patience with us.

He also stated that the players are equally ambitious to return the investment of the club by winning titles noting that the club have set the ground running for success with the two-week training camp they had in Ijebu-Ode in November.

- The set-up here is just fantastic and we are well motivated, he said.
