NACONS Urges the Authority of Unilorin to Upgrade the Faculty of Law to College of Law

Unilorin is one of the most reliable federal government universities in Nigeria, the students and the lecturers of the Unilorin have reasons to be proud of been part of the University popularly known as better by far. The University has been the most stable government own university in Nigeria and never lost his academic credibility and excellence for once. What Unilorin cannot compromise is academic standard and discipline and what are the most important features of the world great universities if not good academic standard and discipline. The existing faculties are complete academic village in University of Ilorin; you meet the best lecturers and best facilities in all the faculties.

One of the faculties that grow briskly over years is the Faculty of Law. The faculty during the administration of Prof Isa'aq Oloyede witness folds of structural development. Today, the Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin has ample facilities that the population of its students cannot exhaust. The best qualify, friendly, and competent lecturers dominate Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin. It is indeed due for the Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin to be upgraded to College of Law, making the second college in the University of Ilorin.

A letter in this regard is to be forwarded from NACONS to the authority of University of Ilorin urging her to complement one of the outputs of Oloyede's administration.

Also, notification of the folds of expansion and development witness by the Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin should be made available to the Nigeria Law Schools in other for the Faculty of Law to be given its due consideration regards the Nigeria Law School cotter which fall below the output and capacity of the Faculty of Law, Unilorin.

The good things about the university are copious. University of Ilorin is free of cultism and it is a model for other institutions in Nigeria. Constant and consistent academic calendar, discipline, friendly students' and lecturers' relationship and maximum exploration of information technology for the efficient administration of Unilorin are among what make it better by far.
