ABS to do Close Camping for NPL Build Up

Date: 2012-11-02

Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC will soon go into 14 day close camping as they prepare for the 2012/2013 Nigerian Premier League season.

The Ilorin based side finished 15th in the concluded season and are aiming to better that outcome in the next season. Team manager of ABS Alloy Chukwuemeka informed that the team will camp in either Lokoja in Kogi state or Offa in Kwara state.

"ABS will go into a 14 day camping in Lokoja or Offa".

Chukwuemeka explains the reason behind the choice of either of the two cities. "It is because ABS play in the North central of Nigeria. And these places are also North central of the country".

The club have earlier revealed that only the services of young and enterprising players are required. Chukwuemeka told futaa.com that veteran footballers and tired legs popularly referred to as ‘pensioners’ have no place in the Ilorin-based club.
