Date: 2020-12-24

The Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) has appealed to the people of Jebba in Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State to take heart over the unfortunate accident which claimed some lives and property in the town on Wednesday.

The National President of the Union, Alhaji Aliyu Otta Uthman, fsi, in a statement signed by its Assistant National Publicity Secretary, Abdulateef Oniyo, described the incident as very demoralising, unfortunate and sad.

He explained that the Union was extremely saddened by the development particularly due to the involvement of innocent souls that were lost to it.

Alhaji Uthman appealed to road users, particularly drivers of articulated vehicles, to always be careful and mindful of others and residents of areas they drive through to ensure the safety of lives and property.

He urged the family of the victims to accept the development as an act of Allah as he prayed Allah to rest the soul of the deceased.
