Kwara Gov congratulates Gidado over NPC appointmentFri ,October, 16 2020 Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated senior journalist Alhaji Razaq Folorunsho Gidado on his appointment as a commissioner of the National Population Commission (NPC), describing his nomination and confirmation as very deserving for a thoroughbred professional like him.

"The nomination and confirmation of Alhaji Gidado is not surprising as he is no doubt a patriot, a progressive politician and a top-rated journalist who has served the state meritoriously at various times. His Excellency therefore felicitates with the senior journalist and an Otoge advocate on the new landmark. His appointment to such a sensitive position situates him as a trusted hand who would make national interest a priority at all times," the Governor said in a statement by Chief Press Secretary Rafiu Ajakaye.
