Kwara police nab fake inspector

The Kwara State Police Command said it has arrested a 30-year-old fake police inspector, Yemisi Fagbemi. The police spokesperson in the state, ASP Ezekiel Dabo, confirmed the arrest yesterday, saying that the suspect was arrested on January 30 in a police uniform with the rank of an inspector by one Inspector Medina Garba. He said the suspected would soon be charged to court.

Yemisi , a mother of two, said she wore the police uniform to enable her meet  with a senior police officer for help .

The suspect told journalists that she was dismissed from the police in 2011, when a suspect involved in a murder case escaped from her custody.
