IEYDA Charges New Govt To Focus Youths Driven Programmes

Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) has called on Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq led new government in Kwara state to focus on programmes that would make life for youths and entire people of the state.

The call was contained in a congratulatory statement issued by National President, Alhaji Abdullahi Babatunde Salaudeen and the National Publicity Officer, Alhaji Uthman Jagunma in Ilorin yesterday.

The statement emphasized the need for the new administration to put the interest of the state first in all the projects and programmes it would embark upon.

IEYDA particularly urged new Governor to focus on youth oriented programmes through youth employment and empowerment.

The association noted that the expectations of the people of the state from the new administration were very high and stressed for the need for government to strive hard to meet the yearnings and aspirations of all Kwarans.

The statement said the events which led to the emergence of new government were great lessons for everyone especially those who were just taking the mantle of leadership.

The statement congratulated Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and prayed for his successful tenure of office.

IEYDA urged Kwarans to support the new governor so that he can deliver his campaign promises.

It restated the commitment of the association to always complement government efforts through its various empowerment programmes with to ensuring overall development of Ilorin Emirates and the state in general.
