Kwara Assures On Completion Of Ilesha-Baruba-Gwanara Road

The Kwara State government has assured that the ongoing construction work on the 32km Ilesha-Baruba-Gwanara Road in Baruten local government area will be completed as scheduled.

Alhaji Aro Yahaya, the State Commissioner for Works and Transport, gave this assurance during an interview with journalists in his office on Friday.

He emphasized that the Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed-led administration is focused on completing the road as scheduled so as to further ease mobility for commuters.

The Commissioner disclosed that the contractor handling the project had been called to an extensive meeting on the need to speed up the pace of work and deliver the project in time.

Furthermore, he added that the contractor has been advised to work according to specifications.
