Gov. Ahmed To Flag off KWASU Osi Campus Tuesday

The Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed will on Tuesday flag off construction of College of Social Sciences and Environmental Studies of the Kwara State University (KWASU) in Osi, EKiti local government area of the State.

According to a government house statement, the establishment of another KWASU campus in Osi is in fulfillment of the multi-campus model envisaged by the institutions founders and pursued by Governor Ahmed.

The statement recalled that Governor Ahmed last Tuesday laid the foundation of the university's College of Agriculture at Ilesha-Baruba in Baruten local government. The project is to cost the State government N907million.

The governor, it said, had also in March performed the groundbreaking of the N450m Post-Graduate School of the institution in Ilorin, which will incorporate the School of Business and Governance.
