Ali Ahmad rallies support for locally made products, manufacturers
Ahmad, in a statement by his Media Aide, Shuaib Abdulkadir made the call while hosting the newly sworn-in KWACCIMA executives who were on a courtesy visit to him in his office recently.
He said the call became imperative for Nigeria to move out of the hardship currently experienced in the nooks and crannies of the country, emphasising that the problem is surmountable as the nation is not the first to witness economic downturn.
The Speaker, therefore, pledged the readiness of the House to partner with the KWACCIMA in any way possible with a view to boost the state economy and improve the citizens welfare.
Ahmad further pledged that the legislators would not shy away from enacting suitable laws that would make it convenient for every business owners in the state to be part of KWACCIMA and thrive in their various businesses.
On the chamber's forthcoming Trade Fair, he described it as a very good avenue for the manufacturers to showcase their goods and innovations, pointing out that such move would further inspire Nigerians to patronise them.
The Speaker, who expressed his delight that KWACCIMA reckons with the legislature however commended the executives for their plans to improve the chambers and the state economy.
Earlier, the KWACCIMA President, Dr. Ahmed Raji ,who commended the House leadership ,sought more collaboration with the business owners in the state.
Raji, while highlighting the new executives' programmes maintained that every mechanism available to the chambers would be made use of to assist in improving the state economy.
He thanked Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed for releasing 10 hectares of land to the chambers for their Trade Fair, calling on other stakeholders in the state to support them in their course.
