F/Eagles return leg moved to Sunday - Still to hold in Ilorin

Date: 2012-07-31

The return leg match of the second round AYC qualifier between Nigeria and Tanzania has been moved by a day to Sunday, August 12.

Officials announced that the match will still be played at the Ilorin Township Stadium under the auspices of the Kwara State Government.

The Flying Eagles beat hosts Ngorogoro Heroes of Tanzania 2-1 in the first leg match played in Dar es Salam on Sunday.

The overall winners of this match will take on the winners of the match between South Africa and Congo for a place in the final tournament to be staged by Algeria in March.

Home team Congo won the first game 2-1 also at the weekend.

The Nigeria U20 team are due back in Lagos on Wednesday after a night's stopover in Kigali, Rwanda.

They will head to Ilorin Thursday morning.
