Mrs. Habia Jimoh, a member of the Kwara House of Assembly, has urged Muslims to pray for peaceful co-existence among Nigerians during the Ramadan.

The lawmaker gave the advice in Ilorin on Thursday when she distributed foodstuffs to some residents of Ilorin Central constituency for the Ramadan.

She said the foodstuffs were meant to complement the efforts of Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed and Sen. Bukola Saraki for the welfare of the faithful during the Ramadan.

Jimoh said no meaningful development could take place in an atmosphere of rancour and appealed to Muslims to pray for peace to return to parts of the country facing security challenges.

"Pray for the sustenance of indivisible unity of Nigeria for more development to be attained, " she said.

Jimoh promised to give electorate quality representation at all time.

In his remark, Alhaji Funsho Yellow, the Chairman of PDP in Ilorin Central Constituency, commended the lawmaker for the kind gesture.
