Saraki Wins Again: Sen Rafiu Ibrahim Thanks Oke-Ero People
The results, as released by INEC, show that the Kwara APC candidate Mrs Victoria Afolayan scored above eighty percent of the total vote cast and declared the winner with 5,346 as against 1,248 scored by her PDP counterpart Olusola Adeoti.
The results as announced showed that APC won in 68 of the 69 polling units that makes the ten wards in the Oke-Ero Local Government Area.
The elections' results further confirmed that Kwara APC under the leadership of the Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki remains a party to beat and the Saraki's dynasty remains unshakable contrary to the insinuation from some cutters within and outside the state.
With this results, it became crystal clear that Kwara remains a stronghold under Saraki leadership. This is a clear fact to all doubting thomases despite all their propaganda on media, Kwara is a no go area without the Saraki.
Also worthy to note is that since the All Progressive Congress (APC) formed the government at the federal, APC has been loosing all the rescheduled elections in the country but Kwara under Saraki is an exception.
I therefore congratulate Dr Bukola Saraki, the Executive Governor of Kwara state, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, the party Executives, the Candidate, Mrs Victoria Afolayan, and the entire APC family in the state and in the country at large.
Signed:
Sen Rafiu Ibrahim,
Chairman Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and Other Financial Institutions
