Kwara Colleges of Education Get Visiting Panels

The Kwara State Governor Alhaji AbdulFatah Ahmed las approved the constitution of visitation panels to the three government owned Colleges of education in the state.

The institutions are the Colleges of Education in Ilorin, Lafiagi and Oro.

An official statement from the office of Secretary to the Government of Kwara State Alhaji Sola Isiaka Gold said the visitation panels became accessary in view of numerous ;omplaint received in respect of unning and operation o f tertiary institutions in the state.

The constitution of the Visitation panel will examine the perceived problems and provide solutions to ensure a better and optimum efficiency and effectiveness of the highly valued state government owned institutions.

The terms of reference of the visitation panels of the three institutions are as follows:

Examine the staffing position in relation to student population and financial ability to pay staff entitlements, assess fund management in relation to available resources, examine the relevance of courses being offered among others.
