Governor Ahmed who said this over the weekend in Oke-Ode, Ifelodun local government area of the State, added that the existing micro credit window created by his administration would continue to provide critical funds to small business owners to grow their businesses.
Ahmed assured the people that the proposed Independent Power project and other projects across the state would stimulate greater investment and economic activities in the State.
"We intend to stimulate greater investment inflow through our forthcoming projects such as an Independent Power Project and major infrastructure across the length and breadth of the state. Indeed, my administration remains committed to ensuring the equitable distribution of projects across the state. It is our expectation that these projects will stimulate economic activities as well as thousands of jobs for youths" he said.
Gov. Ahmed said provision of qualitative education to the Kwara Child remains cardinal of his administration's shared prosperity programme as additional classrooms would be built across the state as well as new campuses for the Kwara State University.
"The proposed projects include 2,000 blocks of new classrooms across the State, new campuses for Kwara State University (KWASU) in Osi and Ilesha Baruba as well as major projects across the State", the governor assured.
