Ilorin Emirate urges Ahmed to address security, education
The Ilorin emirate community has advised Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State to address insecurity and the falling education standard in the state.
The community under the aegis of Ilorin Emirate Descendants' Progressive Union (IEDPU), a socio-cultural organisation of Ilorin emirate indigenes at home and abroad, also urged the governor to tackle infrastructure deficit in the community.
These were the highlights of the position paper presented to the governor by the IEDPU leadership led by its president, Alhaji Abdulhamid Adi.
Other matters presented before the governor were employment creation, tackling energy problem, and the relocation of Oke Kura Prisons Yard, among others.
