Focus on healing wounds, NSCIA urges Buhari
The Nigerian Supreme Council For Islamic Affairs(NSCIA) on Thursday congratulated the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, General Mohammadu Buhari on his victory at the poll, advising him to focus attention on healing the wounds of Nigeria.
Secretary- General of the council, Prof Is-haq Oloyede who addressed a press conference in Ilorin, Kwara State urged the President-elect to take the congratulatory messages pouring in with a pinch of salt.
The council said General Buhari should "remain prayerful and focus your attention on how to heal the wounds of Nigeria".
It equally commended President Goodluck Jonathan for congratulating Buhari before he was even declared the winner, saying by that action, Jonathan had "taken leadership to a new height and you have honoured Nigeria in the eyes of the World. More importantly, you have effectively preserved the peace of the nation".
