The Kwara State council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ) will Wednesday,January,14th present to the public a compendium on the achievements and programmes of the Governor AbdulFatah Ahmed administration.

According to a statement signed by the 2015 Media Luncheon Committee, Hajia Bilqis Modupe Oladimeji, the compendium would be presented during this year's media luncheon of the council at the state secretariat of the NUJ, opposite St. Anthony Secondary School, Offa road, GRA, Ilorin Hajia Oladimeji explained that the production of the compendium is in tune with the responsibility of the media as a watchdog of the society and keep the public well-informed by bridging the communication gap between the government and the governed.

Oladimeji stated that the luncheon was designed to create forum for interaction on dignity in services and professionals and to be held under the chairmanship of the Honourable Commissioner for Works and Transports who doubles as the House of Representatives candidate for Ilorin East/South Federal constituency on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC),Dr Abubakar Amuda Kannike.

The event slated for 4:00 pm,will be a gathering of media professionals and top echelon of the society to create an avenue for interactions, exchange of ideas and merry making.

She said, the programme will equally feature media professionals under the leadership of Comrade Abiodun AbdulKareem who will play host to the state Governor, Alhaji AbdulFatah Ahmed, members of state House of Assembly, honourable commissioners, local government chairmen, permanent secretaries, media executives and host of others.
