Club organises lecture on Sardauna legacies

In demonstration of its commitment to the imperative and sustenance of all-inclusive exemplary and inspiring leadership qualities of the late first Premier of Northern Nigeria and Sardauna of Sokoto, Sir Ahmadu Bello, Gamji Club of Kwara State is dedicating 2015 Gamji Day Celebration to a special public lecture on the enduring leadership footprints of the late Sir Ahmadu Bello entitled: Whither the late Sardauna Leadership Legacies?

A statement made available to Nigerian Pilot in Abuja yesterday explained that the special lecture will be delivered by the former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, while His Excellency, Senator David Mark, President of the Senate will be the Special Guest of Honour. The Chairman, Northern Governors’ Forum and Governor of Niger State, Dr. Babangida Aliyu will preside over as the chairman of the occasion.

The Governor of Kwara State, His Excellency, Alhaji Abdulfatai Ahmed is the Chief Host while a onetime President of the Federal Court of Appeal and Life Patron of Gamji Club, retired Justice Mamman Nasir and His Royal Highness and Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari will be in attendance as Royal Fathers of the day.

The event is scheduled to take place at Kwara Hotel on 17th January, 2015.

All former and current public office holders in Northern Nigeria and Kwara State in particular are expected to attend the late Sardauna Memorial Lecture.

Gamji Club is a non-political, socio-cultural organization dedicated to sustaining the leadership ideals and teachings of the late Premier of Northern Nigeria. It is an all-inclusive platform for propagation of leadership ideals of the late first Premier of Northern Nigeria for all Nigerians, irrespective of their political, religious, ethnic or regional differences.
